Year 7 French trip

Our Year 7 students are having a brilliant time practising their French in France this week as part of trips week.

The week started with a 'mash-up' of fun challenges in Montdidier. Everyone ‘chipped’ in to make sure all of the language tasks were completed successfully. They are pictured below pausing for a photo in front of the statue of Antoine Parmentier, the man responsible for bringing the first potato to France.

On Wednesday, the group visited the aquarium in Boulogne, a chocolate factory and, since the weather was so great, they went to the beach at Le Touquet.

On Thursday students went to Montdidier again. They did some more French language work by buying their own lunch at the market. In the afternoon they went to the cathedral in Amiens.

Today students visted Parc Astérix, near Paris. Again, the students have used their French and had a brilliant time, one student even came back with a giant pink ball (not sure how we will fit that on the coach!). See photos below.
