There was a big book buzz here at Teesdale School last week as Browns' Big Book Bus visited the school.
A selection of students from all year groups were invited to climb aboard the double-decker and choose books to be stocked in school.
Many of our students commented that the bus bore a resemblance to the Harry Potter 'Knight Bus' with one Year 7 student saying it was 'like a dream come true'.
Mrs Bissicks, Assistant Headteacher and Head of English, said: "The visit fits really well with one of our key whole-school priorities which is to promote the love of reading. We want to give students the choice of what they read, even going right back to the start of the process of choosing the books we have in the school."
Our photography students also got involved by taking the opportunity to snap some wonderful photographs of the visit.
