This is a piece of music written for solo piano, performed by Kirsty herself. She says "It is called Ignis because it is the latin for 'fire', and fire can harm but it can also be used to heal"
This is an outstanding piece of composition work completed entirely independently. Kirsty demonstrates a clear understanding of harmony and melodic writing and we can hear the contrast between different sections of the piece. To be able to showcase a student performing their own composition work is a really special privilege!
