Our A level history students spent the day at Newcastle University today to take part in a civil rights lecture and seminar experience. 
The group spent time in the archives looking at materials from 1967 when Martin Luther King was given an honorary degree by the university. Students also explored how photography impacted the Black freedom struggle.
